The fourth step of the PrestaShop installer is used to begin customising your shop and create an account for you to log in to the Back Office. It allows you to enter your shop’s name, country and timezone. You can upload a shop logo too and specify the main activity of the shop, which is used for statistical purposes. You may choose any of the following as your shop’s activity:
| Adult | Food and beverage |
| Animals and Pets | HiFi, Photo and Video |
| Arts and Culture | Home and Garden |
| Babies | Home Appliances |
| Beauty and Personal Care | Jewelry |
| Cars | Mobile and Telecom |
| Computer Hardware and Software | Services |
| Download | Shoes and accessories |
| Fashion and accessories | Sport and Entertainment |
| Flowers, Gifts and Crafts | Travel |
You must then enter your first and last name, email address and password to create an account you can use to log in to the Back Office. Tick the “Receive notifications by e-mail” checkbox to automatically install and configure the mail alerts module with your email address so that you are notified when new orders are made on your website. This option may cause the PrestaShop Installer to freeze if your email settings are incorrect, so only tick it if you successfully received a test email on the previous step.
You can also choose enable "Catalog mode" to disable the shopping cart features. Choose "Yes" if you don't want customers to be able to purchase directly on your website and would rather them call or use the contact form to purchase.
